Mass Counts

Just a quick note to let you know how important it is to attend Mass at St. Joseph Stringtown, especially for the next 6 months. Each weekend, a count is being taken (like the one normally done in October) until February. The average weekend count will then be included with other information about the parish and sent to Belleville as part of the Bishop's Plan for Parish Renewal & Restructuring.

Online Bulletin format

I just realized this past weekend that when I save the bulletin into a pdf file (Adobe) that if you try to print it out, it shrinks it down to a 8 1/2 X 11. I was converting them into pdf files because if someone wishes to download it onto their smartphones, it makes viewing it much easier, at least it is on mine. I will go back to having it as a word document and continue with the pdf file as well.

PSR

PSR meets each Wednesday, 6:15 - 7:15 pm. When Mass is scheduled, PSR ends at 7 pm. PSR usually begins mid-September and concludes the last Wednesday of April. Contact Donna Zwilling for any questions/concerns.

If school is not in session, for holidays or weather, PSR will not meet. Listen to WVLN-Olney or WCRC-Effingham for weather cancellations.
